Exploring Potential Collaboration with MakeBlock to Create a Dedicated Robotics Lab Series

Oh yes! We are once again back with another update. As part of our efforts and plan to expand our online lab series, we have been looking at different brands within different fields of technology, trying to source out a brand that we think has the greatest potential of leaving the biggest impact. The products or brands that we want to feature isn't just meant to focus on real-world deployments, but also on prototyping, and education. When you think about onlinelabseries, we are basically exploring technologies that fulfil two purposes:

  1. Solving the real-world problems

  2. Educating others, and encouraging innovation through creative ideas.

When you look at the brands we are speaking to right now as well as the ones we have spoken to, combine them together and you will realise that our future content can cover learners from every age group.

MakeBlock: Robotics Made Fun for All Ages

Learning about robotics and electronics shouldn't just be for high school, university or working professionals. Even the young adults and teens should be able to learn and explore robotics in a fun and interactive way. As I took time to really look at what the brand can offer in terms of it's extremely comprehensive catalog, many ideas actually comes to mind. The learning possibilities with MakeBlock is boundless.

I have officially reached out to the folks at MakeBlock. I do not have a direct contact so I have to go through the general channel and see what will happen from there. With the Digilent Lab Series not confirmed, there is a possibility that we might find a way to concurrently run the Digilent Lab Series along with the MakeBlock Lab Series (depending on how the discussion goes).

I think what is truly amazing about onlinelabseries is the fact that we aren't like YouTube. We are in fact a dedicated virtual lab experience, containing a precise set of content, live streaming lab content and articles. Our focus is always on technology, innovation and also about educating others, inspiring innovation and more creative ideas through our sessions. This virtual lab series can also be integrated into schools and extra curriculum within schools. I remember many years ago when I was in school and there would be complimentary modules we can take that is apart from the mainstream modules which is compulsory. I think that our online lab series can one day become the source of e-learning/e-lab that students can opt to take. They can either learn and watch us online in school, or do it from the comforts of their own homes, or even in a cafeteria.

I think what is truly amazing about onlinelabseries is the fact that we aren't like YouTube.

For now, I will end here until we have more information and details in the near future. But watch out, there is going to be a lot of awesome lab sessions coming your way in 2018! Things are indeed getting extremely exciting!
